Take I-65 North to the Huntsville exit, which is I-565 East.

Exit I-565 at Research Park Boulevard which will loop around onto the overpass. Drive 3 miles. The exit for Oakwood University will be on the right. Bear right onto Oakwood Road. Follow that road around the bend to Millennium Drive. Make a left into the West gate entrance to campus. Proceed to end of that street, cross Campus Way, you will see the Skating Rink to your right straight ahead. Park in designated lots.

From Airport: Pick up I-565 at airport exit. Follow directions above.

SITE INFORMATION

ENTRANCE: From main gate on Adventist Boulevard: proceed to dead end at Holland Hall make a left You will pass the library on the left. Continue beyond tennis courts to the last building on the right which is the Skate Center (Arrow signs will be posted along route). From West Gate (Millennium Drive): Proceed straight all the way to end of street. Skating Rink will be on right.

PARKING:
Skating Center Parking Lot will be reserved for Recruiters. Residence Hall Parking Lot adjacent to Skating Rink will be reserved for Students. Busses will be directed to the gravel lot by Campus Safety.

SECOND CONNECTION - Central Alabama

From Tuscaloosa (Approximately 1 hour): Take I-59 North/ I-20 East toward Birmingham. Merge onto I-459 North via Exit 106 toward Gadsden / Atlanta. Merge onto I-65 North via exit number 15 toward Birmingham. Take the Lakeshore Drive exit (Exit 255) right toward Green Springs Highway, moving away from Sam’s. At the 3rd traffic light turn left into the university.

From Huntsville (Approximately 100 miles): I-65 South to Birmingham. Exit Lakeshore Drive (Exit 255). Turn left on Lakeshore Drive. At 3rd traffic light turn left onto campus.

From Montgomery & Mobile: I-65 to Lakeshore Drive (Exit 255). Turn right on Lakeshore Drive. At 3rd traffic light turn left onto campus.

From Atlanta: I-20 West to Birmingham. I-65 South to Lakeshore Drive (Exit 255). Turn left on Lakeshore Drive. At 3rd traffic light turn left onto campus.

ON-CAMPUS LOCATION (Instructions to the Pete Hanna Center):
After turning onto campus, make a left turn at the first intersection and proceed on Montague Drive. Turn left at the 4-Way stop onto Dawson Drive and turn left at the next stop sign. Proceed on Neal Road to the second stop sign. You will see the Pete Hanna Center (see map # 17) on the left. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed to the third parking lot (lower tier) on the left. This lot is the designated area for loading and unloading. After unloading, attendees should park in the South Stadium Lot (see map # 53).

The Pete Hanna Center is item #17. The Recruiter Drop-Off Area is available in the lower tier west lot behind the Pete Hanna Center (between #17 and #20). Once unloaded, Recruiter Parking is available in the South Stadium Lot (#53), then walk back to the Pete Hanna Center on the walk between the football and baseball fields.

Parking for Career Fair attendees will be available in the South Stadium parking lot. The South Stadium Lot (see map # 53) is located in the Southwest corner of campus. Take the first left after passing through (see map # 49) the West Entrance. If using the Main Gate, (see map # 1) turn left on Montague and look for the Campus Exit sign.Turn left at the exit sign and take the first right (see map # 53) into the lot. Walk to the Pete Hanna Center on the walk between the football and baseball fields.
